Annie's Hope is a community based nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide comprehensive support services for children, teens and their families who are grieving the death of someone significant.

The St. Louis Bereavement Center for Young People, d/b/a Annie’s Hope is a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization. Our EIN is:  43-1801433.  It is our goal to be THE "go to" bereavement center focused solely on providing the most comprehensive services to meet the needs of grieving children, adolescents and their families in the greater St. Louis region.

volunteer camp counselors and nurses.

Why: Because grieving kids need to have fun too - and meet other kids "just like them."

Who are we recruiting: Applicants must be 18 years of age and out of high school.

When: Camp Courage in the Wild, Wild West

for campers 6-12 years of age.

Saturday, May 31st - Friday, June 6th, 2014

Camp Erin - St. Louis in the Wild, Wild West

for campers 12-18 years of age.

Saturday, June 7th - Friday, June 13th, 2014

CAMP COURAGE & CAMP ERIN - ST. LOUIS

Enjoy a four night/five day experience of laughter, new friends, and barrels of fun in a caring, non-judgmental, environment.

Why: This is your chance to feel what it's like to meet other grieving kids who truly know what you are going through - and to feel joy again.

3rd Annual KIDS IN CANDYLAND is scheduled.

Bring your kids, grandkids or neighbor's kids to play a jumbo game of Candyland while raising awareness and funds for broken hearted kids in the St. Louis area.

Why: Because since Jeremy's dad died, he has felt unsure of himself and wonders, "Was it my fault?"

When: Saturday, July 19th, 9 AM - 12 PM

COMPREHENSIVE GRIEF WORKSHOP

coming this summer!

Do you work with kids? If so, attending our 32 hour didactic and experiential training will be just what you need.

Why: Because Richard and his grief matters.

Who: School social workers, counselors, teachers & nurses, therapists, chaplains; young child educators, funeral directors, and anyone else who wants to learn why kids' grief matters.

When:

Thurs., July 24th, & Fri., July 25th,

Mon., July 28th & Tues., July 29th

8:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Third Annual THE CHOCOLATE AFFAIR

is happening again!

An evening of chocolate, wine, music, silent auction, and hope for grieving families.

Why: Because LaCretia says she doesn't know how to go on living without her big sister. She needs to learn how to cope with life's toughest transitions.

When: Saturday, August 23rd, 7 - 11 PM

If you don't have an eScrip Card for Annie's Hope yet, it is NOT too late. Every time you shop at Schnuck's - anytime throughout the year - you can help to heal bereaved kids all over St. Louis.


Just ask for an eScrip card at the customer service desk. Then, call the number on the card or go online to www.escrip.com to activate it.  The Group ID number for Annie's Hope is:  500004971. Ask the checker to swipe your eScrip card before they start scanning your groceries. A percentage of your purchase will be given to Annie's Hope--at NO COST to you. What a win-win program!!
