Hope & Healing

What is the Hope & Healing Gathering?
The Hope & Healing Gathering is an event where grieving families can reflect, renew and remember. The guests will meet other families who are struggling with a death just like they are. They will see for themselves that the Holiday Season can be tough for any one who has experienced a significant loss. It is a time to pay tribute to those we have lost and to remember just how she/he has impacted our lives. It is a time to find hope in the friendship and support of those who care.

Who is invited to attend the Hope & Healing Gathering?
Any child or teen between the ages of 3 to 18 and their families may attend.

What can I expect at the Hope & Healing Gathering?
The program usually consists of music, poetry, family activity, candle lighting ceremony, whereby each attendee is invited to share something special about the person who died, and tribute performances provided by the families. Each family is encouraged to bring remembrance items for the tribute table. There is a reception at the end of the Hope & Healing Gathering.

When is the Hope & Healing Gathering?
The Gathering is usually the first Friday of December at 7 P.M.

Where is the Gathering held?
